Toronto is preparing to host a series of major Web3 events this May to celebrate a decade since Ethereum’s founding in the city.
ETHWomen, ETHToronto, and over 100 associated events will occur between May 11 and 17 as part of Canada Crypto Week 2025.
ETHWomen and ETHToronto will headline the programming on May 13 at the Blockchain Futurist Conference, held at the historic Toronto Stock Exchange building. These events honor Ethereum’s 10-year milestone and spotlight emerging trends in blockchain development, diversity, and education.
ETHToronto: Developer-Focused Programming Returns
In its fourth edition, ETHToronto brings builders, engineers, and blockchain experts together for an afternoon of discussions, panels, and networking sessions centered on the evolving Web3 landscape. Scheduled from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the conference’s Upper Stage, the event offers a platform for technical exchange and innovation.
The event also launches the Wonder to the Future hackathon, organized by WonderFi Labs, which runs from May 13 through May 31. Participants will build on Wonder L2 technology, focusing on creating frictionless blockchain applications with gasless transactions. ETHWomen: Supporting Women in Blockchain
Prior to ETHToronto, the third annual ETHWomen event will take place at the same venue from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM. ETHWomen is a free initiative to increase female participation in Web3 through education, mentorship, and community-building activities.
The program features speakers from companies actively promoting inclusivity in tech. Silvina Moschini, Co-Founder of Unicoin, will address attendees on both the ETHWomen stage and the conference Main Stage. Unicoin returns as a key sponsor, aligning with its broader mission to boost gender diversity in emerging technologies.
Joining the lineup is Kyleigha Beckmann, Founding Partner of ZDKL, a company developing accessible peer-to-peer Web3 tools. ZDKL, a platinum sponsor of the Blockchain Futurist Conference, emphasizes community-driven commerce and simplified decentralized infrastructure.
